2015 holds lots of promise for Turner Morris.  Our calendar is filling up fast and we’ve already got two sponsorship events under our belt!  On Saturday night we sponsored the first ever beer fest in Silverthorne which benefit Summit County Search and Rescue.  The sold out event was a huge hit with potential to be even bigger and more popular next year.  There was about 24 breweries including but not limited to Pug Ryan’s, Dam Brewery, Baker’s Brewery, Broken Compass, Eddyline, Blue Moon and even Snake River Brewery out of Jackson Hole made an appearance!

On Sunday evening we sponsored the annual Twilight Skate at the North Pond in Silverthorne.  We handed out delicious chili and chips donated by Arapahoe Cafe.  Red Buffalo also donated hot tea, coffee and hot chocolate and of course there were moon pies for dessert! It was a gorgeous night for ice skating and other snowy shenanigans around the pond! Thanks for everyone who came out and made this event great!!

Importance of a Roof Inspectio ...

Posted on: Aug 01, 2013 By: amya | 0 Comments

No matter if your roof is commercial or residential, your roof is a sizable investment.  Major investments, like purchasing a new vehicle, need to be maintained regularly.  Though unlike how vehicles need consistent maintenance, oil, filter, etc., roofs can in most instances can get away with more minimal maintenance.  That is, only if you keep up on your annual inspections!  An annual inspection can provide extra protection and insure proper all over function.  If you fail to do oil changes in your car eventually the motor will get blown.  Lacking on your roof inspection and in-completion of proper maintenance will eventually result in premature failure.  With unexpected roof failure there are unfortunately unavoidable hefty expenses. Early detection of possible failure can save you thousands of dollars over the lifetime of your structure.  We all know we would rather put those thousands of dollars towards a nice vacation or fun toys!   For your roof system to retain its long term value, a roof inspection and regular maintenance are imperative.

Call Turner Morris, Inc. to get your roof inspected today! Denver: 303-431-1300 or Mountains: 970-262-1700

Night of Family Fun ...

The Turner Morris Team who came out! From Left to right: Amy Armstrong, Tim Seeling, Tim Morris, Brian Decker, Dave Laczi & Linda Seeling. Not pictured: Sally Morris & Mark Hubbard. Thanks for all your hard work!

Turner Morris Mountain Division is proud to be partnering with the Silverthorne Pavilion to bring fun events to the Summit County community.  On June 27th the Town of Silverthorne, Pavilion and Turner Morris got together to put on a “Night of Family Fun.”  This first year event was absolutely free to everyone who came out and featured Pedalpalooza, a bouncy house, tracker pull, potato sack races, bubble gum blowing contests, hot dogs and ice cream!

Turner Morris grilled and handed out about 500 hot dogs plus chips and  ice cream sandwiches until we ran out… and then ran out again!  The event brought such an awesome turn out we had to make a run to the store to get even more food!   There was anywhere from 400 to 500 hundred smiling faces at this event, so we figured we’d go ahead and call it a huge success!  It was a great day of smiles, laughter and just good ol’ family fun!

We would like to give a huge shout out to the Town of Silverthorne & the Pavilion for putting on such a fun evening! And a big Thank You too everyone that came out, you all made it an amazing evening!  We love getting involved with the community and are excited for upcoming events!  Looks for us at Just for Boys on Aug. 8th and Pumpkin Fest in October!!

Please enjoy some pictures taken at the event by Silverthorne Pavilion Marketing Coordinator, Blair McGary.

Annual BOMA Tradeshow ...

Posted on: Jul 03, 2013 By: amya | 0 Comments

Every year Turner Morris has a blast participating in the annual BOMA trade show & conference and this years was no different!

Denver Metro BOMA or Building Owners and Managers Association ,  was founded in 1920 and [is a dynamic metropolitan association comprised of nearly 400 members who represent nearly 80 million square feet of commercial real estate in the Denver area. From providing valuable advocacy and educational programs to establishing the most experienced network of professional colleagues in and around Denver, Denver Metro BOMA has an established track record of building success for its members.]

One of their many events is the annual trade show & conference where they bring together working professional to promote and connect with others around the area.  Every year they pick a theme for the event and this years’ theme was Hollywood Movies!  Tim Turner, with his creative mind came up with “Welcome to the kingdom of Roof-A-Lot” (a spin off the movie Camelot).  And thus was born, King Turner along with his valiant leader of the Knights of the Round Table, Sir Hanselot and his humble maiden, Lady Christina.  They were pleased to meet the acquaintance of some new faces and be re-acquainted with familiar faces!

Turner Morris would like to thank the BOMA staff for providing such an awesome venue and an environment where we can lay aside the stuffy suits for a day and let our hair down and take a little walk on the wild side!
